Brian Yost, D.O. | Ethos Orthopedic Surgeons
Dr. Yost grew up locally in Norco CA, and attended Cal State University Fullerton, earning a BS in biology. Dr. Yost attended Western University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pomona. He was accepted to the Michigan State University for a one year rotational internship and then into the Michigan State Orthopedic Surgery program at Botsford Hospital - Farmington Hills, Michigan. After a highly focused on joint replacement orthopedic residency there, Dr. Yost returned to the Inland Empire and spent a year at Kaiser Fontana before joining the highly respected joint orthopedic department at Riverside County Regional Medical Center as the Director of Orthopedic trauma.
Dr. Yost is a highly respected physician:
- Director of a 12 resident Orthopedic program
- Director of the Osteopathic Intern program
- Chair of the Orthopedic Surgery department
In 2010 he was hired by Riverside Community Hospital as their Director of Orthopedic Truama. Dr. Yost assisted RCH to become recognized as a Level I Trauma Center, and as the Director of The Total Joint Replacement Center at RCH, helped advance the departments status to Level II Center of Excellence for joint replacement.
In 2019, Dr. Yost stepped away from the high stress work load to focus on joint replacement and non-emergency fracture management, allowing more time with his family and 6 year old twins.
Outside of work he enjoys riding motocross, time with friends and family, big game hunting, and relaxing on the beach with his wife. He is the father to four children; 27-year-old daughter Dylan, 21-year-old Logan, and twins Odysseus and Elle. Dr. Yost recently welcomed his first grandchild Melody.
